Galileo Introduces Princeton HP-21 ‘Starter’ Piano
Targets “First Piano” Market

Galileo Music announces the release of the Princeton HP-21 ‘Starter’ piano - designed as an affordable solution for the first-time piano buyer. The Princeton HP-21 is a full-sized digital piano with commonly-used digital piano functions - in an ebony polish cabinet designed to enhance home décor.

The first-time piano buyer is often concerned about three things: appearance, ease of use and price. The HP-21 starter piano addresses these concerns.

First, the HP-21 starts with an elegant-designed ebony polish finish. This is a high-quality polyester finish with sliding key cover and ‘console-style’ legs. There are three brass-plated pedals as well as a folding music desk. The durable design includes a rod-iron support under the piano top to keep it from bending or warping over time. Attractive, black grill-cloth is used to enhance the speaker design and the button panel is angled for easy access and visibility. There is even a matching, padded piano bench with reinforced corner supports.

Second, all functions of the HP-21 have been maximized for ease of use. Starting with the assembly itself, the Princeton HP-21 uses female thread inserts to make assembling the piano quicker and easier. Keeping things simple, only the 10 most commonly-used instruments were included (Grand Piano; Vertical Piano; Electric Piano; Digital Piano; Harpsichord; Vibes; Strings; Choir; Jazz Organ; Church Organ). These instruments are selected via one-touch buttons that are made of soft rubber for ergonomic comfort. These sounds can be combined in ‘layer’ mode or played ‘solo’. Other easy-access features include a one-touch metronome with tempo controls, a one-touch transpose and a two-track sequencer. The button panel itself is angled and centralized – making it easier to access and see. There’s even a 7 segment lighted display that illustrates current settings.

To help the first-time piano buyer, the HP-21 is economically priced to fit almost any budget.
