Galileo Introduces All-new Ensemble Pianos with SD Card Drive and iPod® Dock
Targeted at home consumers, Milano II and Milano IIG offer wide range of features
Galileo Music – based in Cape Cod, Massachusetts - announced the introduction and availability of it’s new Milano II and Milano IIG ensemble digital pianos. Available in a vertical (Milano II) or mini-grand style (Milano IIG), the new ensemble pianos are the latest additions to the company’s collection of Italian-inspired digital pianos for the home.
The Milano II and Milano IIG start with graded-hammer key actions and stereo sampled sounds, with 128 note polyphony and a custom digital signal processor. There are 138 preset sounds plus 8 drum kits and sound effects that can be edited, ‘layered’ and ‘split’. There are 100 internal rhythm styles that can be used in ‘Single’, ‘Fingered’ or ‘Pianist’ modes. The sounds, effects and styles can all be programmed into the internal panel memories for quick recall. There are also 50 play-along songs and song book. There’s even a sliding iPod dock with volume control for easy playback of audio files or for following iTunes music lessons.
The Italian-inspired cabinet design has been created specifically for the home consumer and features three full-function piano pedals, console-style legs (Milano II) and sliding key cover - available in dark rosewood or ebony polish finish. The Milano IIG features a mini-grand style cabinet with lifting piano lid and sliding key cover - available in ebony polish finish. Other features include: built-in metronome; 2 headphone jacks; 4-song sequencer (savable to SD Card Drive), MIDI In/Out; stereo audio inputs & outputs; USB-computer; SD Card Drive; microphone w/volume control. All of these features are presented in a control panel with a graphic LCD display.
