Q:

How do I maintain my digital piano?

A:

All digital pianos are electronic, so it is important to avoid any liquid spills or excessive moisture. In general, it is recommended that you clean your digital piano with a slightly damp cloth (never spray cleaners or solvents directly on the piano). For Italian-made, wood finish digital pianos, you can also use a wood cleaner. For high polish Italian finishes you may also use a high-grade car-wax or polyester to keep the shiny finish brand new.

You should avoid placing the piano in direct sunlight or near a heating source. If your piano has a sliding key cover, it is recommended that you keep the cover closed when not using the piano for an extended period of time. This will help eliminate buildup of dust in the keys.

Registering your digital piano for warranty

Q:

How do I register my piano for warranty?

A:

There are three methods you can use to register your digital piano. First: You can click on register my piano link. By filling out the form and submitting it to us, your piano will automatically be registered for warranty support. Second: You can fill out the warranty card that shipped with your piano and mail to: Galileo Music Corp, PO Box 633, Falmouth, MA 02541. Third: You can print out the warranty form from the website and fax it to 508-457-6772. *NOTE: You may wish to consult your piano's warranty period and coverage details (this document should have been packaged with your piano, or you can view a copy at our support page).

Restore Settings on the Maestro, Sinfonia or Grande

Q:

How do I restore the factory settings on my Maestro, Sinfonia or Grande digital piano?

A:

To restore the original factory settings, turn off the power, then turn on the power while holding the first three buttons on the left hand side of the piano - "Comp/Man", Drum "On/Off", and Bass "On/Off". Keep these buttons pressed while the power turns on. You will see a message in the main screen. Once you release the three buttons, the piano is restored to it's original factory settings.

Playing floppy disks

Q:

How do I play a disk on the Maestro, Sinfonia, Grande or Digiplay?

A:

Play a Disk
(please refer to Disk catalog for appropriate disks and ordering information)

1. Insert Disk
2. Use “Song +” and “Song -” buttons to select desired file (the file name will display in the right side of the main display screen)
3. Press “Play/stop” Button (button LED will come on)
4. To stop the file, press the “play/stop” button again.
5. To adjust volumes of the parts, press and hold the “play/stop” button – you will see 16 volume sliders. Use the cursors and data knob to adjust volumes.

Performance Settings

Q:

How do I download my personal performance settings from a disk?

A:

1. Put your disk with your stored performance settings into the disk drive.
2. Press "disk" button (LED comes on)
3. Select "load performance" - F4 (you'll see "loading..." in the screen)
4. Press "disk" button again (LED goes off)

Continuous Disk Play

Q:

How do I make the disk play from one song to another continuously?

A:

1. Press "global settings" button once (LED comes on)
2. Select "song options" (press F3 button).
3. Using Cursor buttons, highlight "All songs play" check box
4. Turn data knob until there is an "X" in the box
5. Press "Global settings" again to leave the function (LED goes off)
