GALILEO MUSIC/VISCOUNT US SERVICE POLICY

In order to expedite and clarify the repair process and subsequently improve customer service to our retail dealers and end-users, Galileo Music/Viscount US will implement the following policy for any and all warranty repair work. This policy is effective immediately and supersedes any previous written or oral service agreement.

Please note the warranty terms for each product type:

  • Princeton Digital Pianos: 90 days labor, 1 year parts
  • Valdesta Digital Pianos: 90 days labor, 1 year parts
  • Sonata Digital Pianos: 90 days labor, 1 year parts
  • Viscount Digital Pianos: 1 year labor, 4 years parts
  • Galileo Digital Pianos: 1 year labor, 4 years parts
  • Drawbar Organs: 90 days parts & labor

FOR PRINCETON/VALDESTA/SONATA BRAND PIANOS:
THERE IS A 2 YEAR MAXIMUM LIMIT ON THE LABOR AND PARTS WARRANTY FROM THE DATE THAT THE PRODUCT IS SHIPPED TO THE AUTHORIZED DEALER. PLEASE VERIFY THE DEALER DELIVERY DATE BEFORE REPAIR.

FOR VISCOUNT/GALILEO BRAND PIANOS:
THERE IS A 2 YEAR MAXIMUM LIMIT ON LABOR AND 5 YEAR MAXIMUM LIMIT ON PARTS FROM THE DATE THAT THE PRODUCT IS SHIPPED TO AUTHORIZED DEALER. PLEASE VERIFY THE DEALER DELIVERY DATE BEFORE REPAIR.

All other products: 90 days parts and labor

Warranty Reimbursement

Galileo Music will remit reimbursements for warranty work if:

  1. The product was purchased from an authorized dealer (a copy of the original sales receipt MUST be submitted with the warranty claim)
  2. The work is performed by an authorized technician
  3. The technician MUST have an authorization code for ALL warranty work (call 1.508.457.6771)
  4. A Warranty Service Report was submitted (see & print “Warranty Service Report” pages as needed).
  5. There are no excessive charges without previous authorization

Any request that does not follow these guidelines will be returned.

The reimbursement for service will be within the following guidelines:

  1. Reimbursement: All product categories: $60.00 per hour. Any repair requiring more than one hour of service must have previous approval from Galileo Music. Any request submitted wit hout this approval will be paid for a one-hour amount only.
  2. Parts: Shipped from Menonomie, WI (call Viscount Tech Services 1.715.231.4096) Parts will be shipped to the local dealer or technician. Parts in stock will arrive within seven consecutive business days. If a part is NOT in stock, Galileo Music will make every effort possible to deliver the needed part as quickly as possible. Non-Standard delivery (next day, 2 day, overnight, etc.) is the responsibility of the technician or dealer.
  3. 30 Day Limitation: Warranty Service Reports must be submitted within 30 days of the repairs’ completion to qualify for reimbursement.
